I am the mother of a beautiful, amazing, three year old boy, and we would very much like to have another baby. I am a straight, pretty, very intelligent, healthy medical professional with blonde hair, blue eyes and great genes; I'm happy and successful and have lots of family and friends and a beautiful home. Frankly, I don't know why I'm still single, but I decided a few years ago not to let that stop me from having a family. I co-parented with a friend who is an only child the first time, and he is content to stop at one. I come from a very large family, though, and I really want my son to have a sibling or siblings. I've considered a sperm bank, but I also would really like for my next child to have a loving father like his brother does.
We're looking for a dad who wants to be very involved, both emotionally and financially, and who lives close enough to make that feasible. Caucasian, I guess, since we are. Hopefully there is a match out there who understands where we're coming from. I'm a woman currently committed to another woman and neither of us has kids (we are both 30+ African-American women). We are stable in other areas of life but are really wanting to have a child. This is where the right man comes in. This is not a situation where we want the donor to sign away rights to the child. In fact, we're hoping for quite the opposite. We have avoided the anonymous sperm donor route in favor of having a father figure present in our child's life. We would work out visitations and other issues together.
We're seeking a guy who wants to have a child and help raise it. No financial support will be sought. All financial assistance is strictly optional.
